PM Al-Sudani: The Government is committed to fulfilling promises

    INA - BAGHDAD

    Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani inaugurated on Monday, three overpasses: Al-Rustamiya, Al-Muhandisin, and Al-Shalchyia, as part of the first package of projects to alleviate traffic congestion in the capital, Baghdad.

    Prime Minister Al-Sudani praised the efforts of the technical staff in the Ministry of Construction and Housing, the Baghdad Municipality, and all supporting entities in executing these vital projects, according to a statement by PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    He noted that "with the inauguration of these projects, five out of the 16 projects in the first package have been completed. He expressed gratitude to the citizens for their patience with the traffic congestion and detours, stating that their patience has resulted in the opening of these projects today."

    Al-Sudani emphasized the government's commitment to fulfilling its promises to the people and implementing service projects in Baghdad and other provinces. 

    "There are four additional projects involving bridges and overpasses in Anbar, Diwaniya, Dhi Qar, and Maysan, which will be inaugurated in the next three months," he added. 

    He reiterated the ongoing efforts on infrastructure projects across all provinces, aligning with the government's vision to prepare cities and provinces for economic and developmental progress to build a new Iraq.
