Two detained for terrorism-related charges in Nineveh

The arrest of two suspects who are responsible for terrorist crimes in western Nineveh was announced by the Directorate of Military Intelligence on Thursday. 

"A tight ambush resulted in the arrest of accused wanted by the Iraqi courts in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 / terrorism) in the district of Al-Mahlabiya, west of Nineveh, according to accurate intelligence information," read a statement from the directorate that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained.  

The statement also stated that "they were initially handed over to the requesting party," and that "the terrorists were taking advantage of the rugged roads in moving around."
