Al-Rusafa Police conducts security operation, under MOI Minister Oversight

The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, conducting a security operation in Al-Adhamiya area in Baghdad, under the supervision of Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari.
 
The Ministry of interior-MOI, stated in a statement, received of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “a force from Al-Rusafa Police Command, along with a force from the holding units, the 1st Baghdad Al-Rusafa Emergency Regiment, the rescue detachments and the rest of the security services, carried out a search duty in the Adhamiya area in Baghdad,” indicating that “the operation was carried out under the supervision of Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari.”
 
The statement added, "The operation resulted in the arrest of 72 violators according to various legal articles, in addition to 35 foreigners who violated residency procedures, in addition to 4 violators carrying unlicensed weapons and 4 different weapons."
